At Wijngaard, we are passionate about cheese. The van den Wijngaard family has produced excellent cheeses for many generations. Today, our family-run cheese dairy has a focus on tradition, quality and artisan craftsmanship that is stronger than ever.
An intrinsic part of our philosophy is to give our cheeses all the time they need to develop their rich taste. The natural maturing process (with no artificial temperature control) is core to this philosophy as is using as much milk as possible from cows grazing on fresh green grass in the summer time.
In addition to our Reypenaer brand, we produce a range of exemplary cheeses at Wijngaard, including our acclaimed Wyngaard Chèvre collection.
We are proud that our fine artisan cheeses have won numerous awards, including top prizes for 5 years running at the Nantwich Cheese Festival.

Our cheese comes from the green heart of Holland, using milk from cows roaming its rich summer pastures.
