We are proud to announce that Airline KLM’s inflight movie series Destination Netherlands now features our ‘gastronomic flagship’ cheese – Reypenaer. The short movie, simply called Dutch Cheese, features the world famous cheese market of Alkmaar. As well as a special report on the making of our premium aged gouda cheese – Reypenaer. Emphasizing the crucial role played by the maturing process on the taste of the cheese, watch the movie to learn why our Reypenaer cheese is truly unique in terms of flavour. The film clip shows how each wheel of cheese is hand turned and explains the fact Reypenaer cheese is allowed to mature naturally without any artificial changes in temperature – a process made possible by our 100 year old custom built cheese warehouse.
